Dr Brad Shamis 
is the owner and Clinical Director of Dr Brad Shamis and Associates LLC. The practice provides traditional therapies as Psychodynamic, Cognitive-Behavioral, Gestalt and Client-Centered, as well our cutting edge holistic approaches. Psychoenergetics tm, which include the use of Thought Field Therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique, Hypnosis, EMDR, and Psychosynthesis. Dr Shamis and his psychological partners offer care to ages four to geriatric on an individual, couples and or family basis. We are conveniently located in Bensalem and Yardley Pennsylvania.

Dr Shamis is a licensed psychologist, certified to practice in the states of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He has over thirty years of experience in practicing psychotherapy. He is a graduate of Temple University in Philadelphia, with a doctorate degree in Psychological Studies. His experience includes nearly years as a Senior Clinical Psychologist at Trenton Psychiatric Hospital, Program Director at Wordsworth Academy, Family Therapist at Alderdsgate Youth Service Center, Clinical Coordinator for drug and alcohol addictions at Lower Kensington Environmental Center, and Child Care Counselor at the Philadelphia Child Guidance Clinic.

Dr Brad Shamis and Associate LLC is group of psychologists who are engaging, practical, and solution-focused . Their treatment approaches provide support and practical feedback to help clients resolve current and long-standing problems. They incorporate a blend of conventional and alternatives approaches, drawing upon a variety of styles and techniques to incorporate what will be most helpful for each client. With sensitivity and compassion, they work with each client to help them build on their strengths to identify and achieve life goals.

Jack Payson 
is a Licensed Psychologist certified to practice in Pennsylvania. He is also certified as a Neo-Psychoanalyst, and Cognitive-Behaviorist. Further, he has a Certificate of Proficiency in the Treatment of Psychoactive Substances and Alcohol Disorder. A graduate of Temple University in Philadelphia Pennsylvania he has served as Senior Addictions Counselor at Kintock Group, County Delegate for Crisis Intervention and Suicide Prevention Center of Delaware Valley, and Medical Research Assistant for Philadelphia State Hospital.


Gilbert Schwartz 
is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, certified to practice in Pennsylvania. A graduate of Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he has been a Family Therapist for Philadelphia State Hospital, Clinical Coordinator for Eastern State School and Hospital and Staff Psychologist for Norristown State Hospital. His clinical orientation is Cognitive-Behavioral, Family Systems Theory, and Client-Centered.



Organizations and Associations Dr Shamis and his partners are members of the American Psychological Association and the Pennsylvania Psychological Association. Gilbert Schwartz is also a member of the Clinical Social Workers Association.
